            Real Issues Ministries!

Here at Real Issues Ministries, we are committed to serving God and the needs of you and your family by openly addressing the "Real Issues" of life.
It is our mission to assist individuals and the institutional church  to become ministries that "heal". Which means we have to learn to major in relationship building.  When we do this we recognize that every facet of our life and ministry is people oriented and relationship based. Success becomes identified not by what we own or accomplish but by those intangible terms of hearts that have bonded together as we all discover Christ together. It is measured in the growth of healthy, life-giving and life-transforming relationships. It is demonstrated when we allow our selves to become transparent, accountable and vulnerable with one another, talk about our struggles and sins together, and encourage and correct one another towards spiritual growth, and when we learn to minister to each other.
It is our prayer that in our evangelistic and discipleship efforts, we don't lose sight of the importance of relationship building.
We pray that every institutional church and ministry would be a place of safety for the scared, healing for the hurting, reshaping for the hurtful and acceptance for the unloved.

In 2011 we have shifted our focus more towards the needs of men;.
The world cries out for men who are strong to lead, strong to stand, strong to serve and strong to suffer.
The culture has blurred the lines of manliness so that anything thing or anyone passes for a "man".
I believe we are at a crossroad, we need a redeemed image of man that chooses to serve Christ and not the culture, men who are willing to be radicals for Christ and not revisionist of Christian history, men who are willing to change instead of compromise.
We need men of faith, action, accountability and responsibility.
Not only to met the needs of today, but also for tomorrow. The future of our faith, families, fellowships and finances are at stake.
As young David asked when confronting the Philistines; "Is there not a cause" (1 Sam. 17: 29). That is the same question each man must ask themselves, "Is there not a cause" worthy of facing death?
Finally, men in the Christian community need to make a radical break with the usual way men behave in our culture. We need to be a living example of the body of Christ as described in 1 Cor. 12. Instead of competing with each other, we need to experience the affirmation of being in a complimentary unity with one another. Each of us need to experience being a vital part of a united body in which he nurtures and is nourished.
What a powerful witness for Christian masculinity it would be if men exemplified such unity! It is our prayer that Christian men will be released from the bondage of cultural masculinity, protected from the false aspects of contemporary models and decide to experience authentic fullness as men as modeled by Jesus Christ.
We aspire to strengthen each person's confidence and joy in Jesus Christ - at every point in their life, even through the pain and struggles that come with life and encourage personal and spiritual growth in
